Enhanced Passport TrailSport for Off-Roading Capability

The new and improved Passport TrailSport is a rugged off-road capable vehicle with a new off-road tuned suspension and trail-read all-terrain tires. The design has been purposely geared towards buyers who want that adventurous experience with the vehicle, encouraging them to drive and travel to places that their regular vehicle could never reach.

The off-road tuned suspension is exclusive to the Passport TrailSport, featuring revised spring rates, enhanced damper valve tuning, and optimized stabilizer bars for better articulation. The upgraded features also help to improve off-road ride quality without lowering the comfort or handling of the vehicle.

The included all-terrain tires drastically improve the vehicle’s performance on dirt, sand, mud, rocky terrain, and even snow. However, Honda hasn’t compromised on the ride comfort and quality, as the tires are surprisingly quiet and comfortable while on the road. The vehicle has been tested in some of the world’s harshest off-road environments, such as the Imperial Sand Dunes and the Dubai desert.

To further improve control, Honda has added their innovative i-VTM4 torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system. This system enhances control-ability and traction management for a variety of situations. It can automatically send up to 70% of the engine’s torque to the rear wheels while apportioning 100% of that torque between the rear wheels based on current driving conditions. These flexible traction and stability settings will greatly improve handling in harsh conditions such as deep sand and muddy environments, giving the Passport a great amount of control to navigate even the toughest trails.

A New Aggressive Design and Upscale Interior With the Passport Black Edition

The new Honda Passport includes a new Black Edition that comes with a more aggressive design and upscale interior. The 20-inch wheels, grille, headlight trim, side trim, leather seats, door handles, and even the interior focus on dark accents. It’s paired with red accent lighting that glows from various parts of the vehicle, such as underneath the dashboard, around the doors and also on the centre console. It certainly adds a darker and sleeker look to the vehicle.

But it’s not just the aesthetics that have changed. Honda has also included premium features such as heated seats, ventilated front seats, and perforated leather seating. The new Passport Black Edition will be available in a number of colours such as Platinum White, Radiant Red, and Sonic Gray.
