Winter Safety Tips
Make sure your washer fluid is always full and you carry an extra container with you.
Make sure that you start your vehicle and give it some time to warm up as through the winter months your oil viscosity is a little thicker until it warms up.
Make sure that you clean the ice off your windshield instead of using your wipers and fluid. This will not only save on windshield wiper fluid but also with the life of your wiper blades.
Use glass cleaner to clean the inside of all your windows. This will reduce them from fogging up.
Make sure that all season or winter tires have plenty of tread so they can optimize their performance.

On average, your car battery will last roughly 3 to 5 years, but keep in mind that your driving habits and exposure to extreme weather conditions can shorten the life of your car battery. For a Honda battery inspection or replacement, schedule a service appointment for a diagnostic check that will estimate the temperature at which your battery may fail, give you an idea of how much battery life you have left, and test the conditions of the cables.
