Halton Honda Achieves Gold in Honda’s Green Dealer Program

Halton Honda is thrilled to announce that we have earned the Gold award in Honda Canada’s prestigious Green Dealer Recognition Program, building on our Silver achievement in 2019. This award highlights our dedication to reducing our environmental impact while enhancing energy efficiency throughout our dealership.

The Honda Canada Green Dealer Recognition Program acknowledges dealerships that take meaningful steps to lower energy consumption and implement environmentally responsible practices. The program features three achievement levels:

• Silver: 10% reduction in total energy use
• Gold: 30% reduction in total energy use
• Platinum: 50% reduction in total energy use or achieving Electric Grid Neutral status

To qualify, dealers must track monthly energy and water usage, implement programmable thermostats, and maintain comprehensive recycling programs. By meeting these requirements, Halton Honda has not only reduced our environmental footprint but also contributed to Honda’s “Blue Skies for Our Children” initiative, which supports efforts to create a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations.
